I’m Andrea Herrera, founder of Pronto Engineering. My career began in geotechnical engineering, where I spent years in the field conducting subsurface investigations and overseeing foundation installations. During that time, I also developed strong expertise in foundation design, gaining a deep understanding of how structures come to life from the ground up.

I later transitioned into crane engineering, working on complex urban projects — from tower crane erection and dismantling to placing cranes atop subway structures. Much of this work involved coordinating with city agencies, including NYC DOB and MTA, where I gained extensive experience in project expediting and filing. I also performed on-site crane sign-offs and surveyed placement areas, ensuring precision and safety in every phase.

After years of hands-on experience across multiple engineering disciplines, I decided to launch my own firm. For over a year now, I’ve been proud to take on a wide range of engineering projects, managing every stage of the process — from concept to completion — with a focus on efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
